Where to Stay in NYC

Hotel prices in New York City are no joke, we’ve compiled a varied list of options, each with their own individual personality so you can focus on exploring the city.

In a cool location for fun bars and nightlife, the PUBLIC Hotel sits on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. It’s known for it’s iconic neon escalators but the flawless design doesn’t stop there. Each of the rooms (including micro size) are carefully curated. Head to the rooftop bar for a fun late night vibe and excellent people watching, or to the hidden cocktail bar for a nightcap.

Owned by Robert De Niro, the Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca offers a sophisticated option for a very plush and special NYC stay. Eclectic decor and marble bathrooms feature in the stylish rooms. Downstairs you’ll find the hotel’s restaurant, Locanda Verde. Celebrities such as Jay Z have been spotted in the lively Italian restaurant.

The Ace Hotel now has two NYC locations - NoMad and Brooklyn. Both locations offer a fun vibe for travellers and locals to meet- the Manhattan location features local DJs in the lobby at the weekend.

The Freehand Hotel in Flatiron offers single or twin rooms as a cheaper option, while still staying in a great central location.

The best part of staying in Brooklyn is the views of the Manhattan skyline– and The Hoxton, Williamsburg makes the most of this with floor to ceiling windows in all of its bedrooms and its rooftop. Close to Bedford Avenue L train stop and McCarren Park, this is an ideal location for getting a flavour of both Brooklyn and Manhattan. Alternatively, try the William Vale or the Williamsburg Hotel which are both in the same area and offer the same great views and vibes.
